Surprise

To my surprise, Cheyenne has left Stick Your Nose Under The Circus Tent up and running. There hasn't been a new post since June and many stories have been deleted, but everyone can still see them. I haven't checked back since June because I assumed that when she said she was deleting her account, everything would be erased. I am sure the rest of her followers felt the same way. But, we were wrong. I know that I have missed the stories from Cheyenne and I'm glad that she did not decide to delete everything. Check it out!

Bright Lights, Big City

Cheyenne's new blog is expected to have an element of "grittiness" when she tells the story between two J.D. and Veronica like characters. The setting of her new blog is planned to be in New York City, where the tale of three characters with "interchangeable names" meet.

"Glenn", the J.D. type of character that is "not like the Glenn in my current blog at all", is rooming with his best friend of six and a half years, Amanda (Whose name Cheyenne has not settled upon and may very well change).

Amanda is planned to be presented as the "free spirit" and perfect example of the "together woman of the 1980s". Her reason for being attracted to Glenn is that he keeps her "grounded, sane, and when her common sense flies through the window, he's always there to give her advise." Although "Glenn hates being Amanda's verison of a safety blanket, he pulls through because he's madly infatuated with her".

Cheyenne has said to "expect the sensitive jerk type of character", whom she calls "Jesse" at this point. Jesse has been said to be a James Deen wannabe; "he puts on a front that he's real mysterious, that he's a womanizer, and a loner, when he's not". The truth is, he has lived in New York his entire life, "alongside Glenn".

Cheyenne has explained that her story is in the "very early stages" of development and she plans on working to lay down the foundation and focus on actually building the story. She has not given any ideas as to when we might see a blog but I can infer that it may not be for a while.

Is Kayla Ready to Commit to A New Blog?

Kayla mentioned in a post, "I would like to converge the plot of this blog with my sophisticated writing style." If you are a frequent reader of Love's Got Me Doin' Time, you would have noticed a modification in her approach.

Recently, Kayla has been focusing on Tom and Kayla's past and how their relationship has developed. I am looking forward to reading her new blog for I expect to see some brand new ideas and additional backgrounds. Maybe we will discover more of Robin and Jeff's relationship and how things will be for them in the future.

Kayla has said, "I already have four to five blogs" and I wonder if she will be as dedicated to her new blog as much as she was to Love's Got Me Doin' Time or Caposhi Casanova. We have all witnessed the lack of posts on Caposhi Casanova and her frustration to "get the characters personalities right". Will this new blog be just another Caposhi Casanova? Kayla is trying to spread her creativity around with different genres. Her attempt at a Crime/Thriller novel was a success and she wishes to continue. It sounds like she will begin focusing more on her crime blog rather than on her Fanfiction stories. Although it may be the effect of her declining ideas since she and Cheyenne "have ceased their game", she has pulled influence from Thomas Harris and Alan Jacobson.

We have all witnessed how much her writing has improved and I'm sure everyone will check out her new blog as soon as she posts the link.
